Cuadros de Nueva York II
This image was born during one of my trips through New York, where architecture ceases to be merely structure and becomes emotion. The Brooklyn Bridge emerges fragmented among lines, reflections, and overlapping planes, as if the city existed in multiple times simultaneously. The golden light of the sunset pierces the steel and concrete, revealing that even in the urban immensity, there is a moment of calm. More than representing a place, this work speaks to the experience of inhabiting a city that never ceases to transform. It is a dialogue between order and chaos, between the memory of the journey and the intensity of a landscape that overwhelms the eye. Each visual layer is a memory, an emotion, and a fragment of suspended time. This piece does not seek to document a landscape, but rather to capture the sense of wonder that arises from confronting a city whose scale seems to defy perception. It is an invitation to lose oneself in the complexity and find beauty in the constant movement.
Crafted using advanced digital techniques, “Cuadros de Nueva York II” offers a luminous finish that enhances its palette. The harmonious layering of hues evoke both energy and tranquility, making this artwork a versatile statement piece for modern interiors.
• Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant.
• Vibrant, long-lasting colors with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection.
• Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
